Mno-Bmadsen is the investment enterprise of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians. The principals of Seven Generations Architecture and Engineering have more than 75 years of combined experience in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Planning, and Construction. The firm specializes in the Federal, State, Municipal, Commercial and Tribal markets and is skilled at completing projects on time and at or under budget. Every service is provided with a singular dedication to environmental stewardship.

Mno-Bmadsen established Seven Generations Architecture and Engineering to support its growing need for design and construction services within the Tribe’s geographic and economically controlled land development. The motivation went well beyond the concept of design and engineering as form and function, and incorporates the firm’s core value of Seven Generation Sustainability — an ecological concept that urges the current generation of humans to live sustainability and work for the benefit of the seventh generation into the future.
Meet The Seven Generations Team
Jeremy is an active leader in all phases of the practice of architecture, including master planning, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration. He has experience leading multi-discipline teams for new healthcare facilities, additions, and renovations of existing healthcare facilities. He has worked as an architectural medical subject matter expert on behalf of the Department of Defense for the US government, and has completed over 35 distinct medical and laboratory projects for Tribal, Federal, and private clients.
Steve is the Vice President of Practice at Seven Generations Architecture and Engineering and leads the Healthcare Architecture and Planning for the company. Steve has provided high level design and professional services to a wide range of client types in the Healthcare and Higher Education market sectors. His goal on every project is to provide superior service by utilizing the latest tools in technology to assist in communicating and visualizing our client’s desires. His role is to assist with the visualization and implementation of the program and design approach for the project.
David is a registered architect and construction manager with over 30 years of progressive responsibility and varied experience. As VP of Operations, he is responsible for the financial management of the office, as well as providing overall direction for client service activities and providing leadership to staff. He oversees project managers to ensure that production of design and contact drawings are produced in a timely manner and ensures that standards for project quality are maintained.
Ryan is a Professional Engineer with over 19 years of experience in mechanical design, management, and maintenance and reliability engineering. As a professional engineer with experience in various industries, he provides invaluable mechanical expertise for overall project quality at 7GAE.
Outside of work, Ryan prefers spending time with family: his wife, Theresa, and daughters, Adia and Brynna. He also enjoys competing in triathlons.
Scott is responsible for tribal client relations, planning, business development and project management. He is an enrolled member of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi and has over 35 years of architectural experience specializing in design of Tribal healthcare, educational and justice facilities.
Scott’s strengths include a collaborative approach that links the vision of the client with the expectations of the larger community in order to create facilities that benefit everyone, focusing on sustainability.
Rick has over 40 years of architectural experience in a variety of project roles. As a part of the architectural team, Rick oversees the preparation of construction drawings, working closely with the design team to clearly document the defined scope of work. His strength is in the ‘nuts and bolts’ of what we do and his variety of experience gives him a unique perspective on the big picture.
Stephanie heads the Interior Design department and has over eight years’ experience in commercial interior architecture and design. Her experience includes all phases of the design process for renovations, additions, and new construction. She has practiced primarily in the healthcare design market for both private and government owned facilities. Stephanie finds value in building meaningful client relationships while utilizing her expertise to enhance built environments.
Justin is a Professional Engineer with over 18 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design and engineering. Justin earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA. Experiences gained in a variety of sectors including healthcare, nuclear power, and parking structures, will assist in providing in-house engineering support to 7GAE’s projects. Justin has a keen interest in streamlining processes between architects, designers, and engineers to promote project efficiencies.
Outside of work, Justin spends time with his family: his wife, Chelsea, and daughters, Belle and Mae. He also enjoys attending sporting events, playing ice hockey, and participating in many different outdoor activities year-round.
Registered Professional Engineer
Eric is active in producing all documents within the design phase of architectural projects, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration. He has over fifteen years of experience in producing and managing healthcare documents, healthcare construction administration.
Brian’s professional experience in both the private and public sectors has produced a variety of projects including multi-family, corporate, custom residential and alternative energy. Guided by modern design sensibilities, his skill is re-interpreting regional vernaculars with natural materials while coupling these with a respect for the environment. These abilities have generated numerous sustainable and innovative design solutions.
His thorough understanding of regulatory processes governing all development and his ability to communicate with municipal agencies has been instrumental in securing project approvals.
Raised in West Michigan, Brian received his Bachelors of Science and Master of Architecture Degrees from the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan. He has been practicing architecture in Michigan and Colorado for the past 15 years.
Dan has over 34 years of architectural experience in complex and innovative military, laboratory, educational and senior living projects. He graduated from Ball State University and has practiced in Indiana and Ohio before joining our team in Michigan.
