Stephanie Sokolowski (NCIDQ, CHID, IIDA, LEED GA), the Senior Interior Designer at Seven Generations Architecture + Engineering, recently passed the rigorous examination set by the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers and earned the prestigious Certified Healthcare Interior Designer (CHID) certificate. Stephanie has ten years of experience in healthcare design and is now one of just a few CHID-certified designers in the entire state of Michigan. Her impressive career has been focused on healthcare design, so it is no surprise that Stephanie passed the exam and earned this distinguished certification.
Says Stephanie, “The CHID certification is so important — having the right knowledge is critical when it comes to improving healthcare environments and outcomes. I would strongly encourage other designers to pursue this certification as they make an impact in healthcare design.
Seven Generations A+E is honored to work on varied healthcare projects across Federal, community, and Tribal sectors. With each project, we value Stephanie’s experience and contributions. For example, at the Mille Lacs Band D1 Health Clinic, Stephanie was critical to including the Ojibwe language throughout the space, engaging with key stakeholders to improve and elevate the clinic for the Tribal community.
As a testament to Stephanie’s incredible work ethic, it is worth noting that Stephanie is a new mom and prepared for the exam primarily during her maternity leave. That only makes her accomplishment that much more impressive!
Congratulations, Stephanie! We are honored to have you on the team at 7GAE.
