The Pokagon PV Array is a solar photovoltaic system meant to serve the Pokagon Wellness Center. Each panel is constructed of mono-crystalline 60 cell modules with an American made inverter all attached and secured to a precast concrete footing and racking system. Each system is made to withstand a wind load of 90 mph and a snow load of 50 lb/ft2. The array is connected to the grid located in the wellness center using 3 inch conduit 18 inches below grade and can be monitored via internet. The array is built to meet LEED requirements as well as the National Electrical Code (2011).
