Seven Generations Architecture & Engineering was commissioned by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi to design a state-of-the-art Hall for the Pokagon Band Elders and the Elders Council members. The building will be accommodate large functions and workshops as a primary use. Additional uses include administrative spaces (i.e. staff offices and a conference room) for the Elders Council staff and their staff support personnel.

As the Pokagon Band tribal members demographic changes the band needs a facility to assist with the accommodating the services associated with this change. The new Elders Hall will focus on serving members 55 years and older and will be solely dedicated to providing programs directly related and relevant to the Elder population. Some of the programming that will be accommodated in this new facility are: Group Fitness, Craft Workshops, Regularly Scheduled Elders Council Meetings, Community Meetings and other Culturally related activities.
