Amanda Boelman registered with The Pathways Program last spring and before she knew it, she was contacted by an adviser and accepted an offer from Seven Generations Architecture + Engineering (7GAE) as the summer business development intern. In that role, Amanda supports her team in a variety of ways, including data collection and reporting. This actionable intelligence is then leveraged by 7GAE, as well as the rest of Mno-Bmadsen’s Family of Companies, to assist in the new business and marketing efforts. Specific responsibilities include opportunity identification, competitive analysis, pipeline maintenance, market analysis, social media marketing and proposal writing.

“My internship with 7GAE has allowed me to apply my classroom knowledge to real-world experience in ways that will make my candidacy to the workforce more desirable when I graduate in 2020,” Amanda says. “Without the Pathways and college internship programs, none of this would have been possible.”

Amanda, whose internship began on June 1 and will extend through to the end of July, encourages every citizen, regardless of age, to register with Pathways as soon as they can to take advantage of all the tribe’s career-oriented programs.
